Greg van Bolderen has formally joined the Dutch Masters team as project coordinator.
Greg has been around the construction industry since his childhood: riding shotgun in dad’s pick-up traveling the country side, drawing plans at the home office drafting board; visiting construction sites to meet clients and trades. All of these experiences have contributed to his interest in the construction industry.
He has worked in different sectors within the construction industry. Greg has worked retail gathering product knowledge, operated equipment for an excavation contractor, and for a building contractor obtaining the practical aspects of framing barn structures. Greg has also worked for a civil engineering firm doing quality control, design work, and preparing topographical mapping. He has computer skills in AutoCAD and Civil Engineering programs, which are aids in helping to obtain permits, gathering technical data for project development, and working with municipal and regulatory authorities.
Greg’s educational background is suited for Dutch Masters, and to meet our clients’ needs. After attending Acadia University in Nova Scotia, he received his Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Cambrian College in Sudbury, and continued to Lakehead University in order to obtain his Bachelors of Engineering (Civil). The skills and technical knowledge gained through his formal education provides clients with informed and accurate information creating solutions for horse farm owners’ construction needs. With these skills and the practical experience gained from working on actual construction projects, Greg will help Dutch Masters to continue finding the best solutions for their clients’ specific needs.
Greg was active in sports as a youngster; playing hockey, baseball, basketball on school and community leagues but his greatest interest is football. Greg played for the Huronia Stallions of the Ontario Varsity Football League, and with the Acadia University football club. He is now a coach for the Stallions football club in Barrie, Ontario. He is a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and a long suffering Toronto Maple Leafs supporter.
